4Q Party night at Cherry Bar
We all meet up for breakfast at around 11:30 which is bloody early for us and Chris is looking really rough. It hadn't been that heavy a night, so we are a little concerned. He says that his throat feels constricted and he's been sweating profusely for a couple of days. It was initially ignored as being caused by too much booze, but we all agree that it seems more serious than that. Off to hotel reception to call for a doctor. An ambulance arrives from Bangkok Pattaya Hospital about half an hour later (We are becoming good customers of this place) and Chris wanders off to his room with Nok to get a check up to see what's wrong.
After about half an hour everyone returns from the room and it transpires that Chris has contracted 'flu. He is given some pills and told to stay off the booze for three days. He is only due to stay in Pattaya for three more days anyhow, so that's supposed to be the end of his boozing. He vows to be a 'good boy' tonight and to then see how it goes.
We continue to chill out and chat whilst sitting by the pool (none of us has actually ventured into the pool yet - maybe tomorrow?) Nok (FLB) gets a call from a friend of hers (Beer) asking what she was doing that night. When she is told about the party, Nok asks me if it is okay for Beer to come along. No problem say I (she is very cute and it is our party) and it's agreed that she will come along later. In mid afdternoon the girls all decide that they need to go and get themselves ready for the party. Kevin & Chris have already been shown the outfits that their girls have bought, but I have not been allowed to see in the bag that Nok brought back from her shopping trip.
We then decide that we will also go and get ready and we would meet back at the hotel bar around 5:30. This we manage (a plan that worked!) and then it's off to town. It's going to be a heavy night, so true to form, it's in to Kilkenny's again. I have arranged to meet Nok in the FLB at 7 pm and we will stay there until we have had the opportunity to say goodbye to Aussiechic and Badboy as it's their last night in town. Kevin & Chris are to go straight from Kilkenny's to Cherry Bar and meet Nok (Cherry) and Am there.
At 7:01, Kevin looks at me and says "Go on,, don't worry about the checkbin here, get your arse down to FLB. You are acting like a fucking excited schoolkid on his first date". It was true, I was very excited and could hardly wait to see Nok. 7:03, I'm in the FLB and Nok isn't there yet. This is not really a big surprise to me, so I just sit at the bar and have a few drinks. Moulie and the Mamasans come over to ask if I'm okay and I suspect they already know the answer to that by the stupid fucking grin all over my face.
By 7:35, I'm getting a little edgy now as Nok still hasn't arrived and I get yet another beer in. Five minutes later though in she walks. She lookls absolutely stunning. Sod the party, I want to take her back to the hotel now!
I cannot help but gawp at her. She is definately a young woman tonight and not a girl. I am totally bowled over and am very happy and proud.
We have a few drinks and meet Aussiechic and Badboy. Aussiechic agrees with me that Nok looks really beautiful. As a leaving present, Nok is given a calendar which she views with great excitement. There is a certain innocence and naivety that the girls portray at times that just makes my heart melt. This was one of those moments.
By 8:30, we decide to make our way up to Cherry Bar to join in with the festivities. We sit in our now familiar seats and check out how everyone else is getting on. Chris is stone cold sober and drinking Sprite; Kevin seems to be okay as well, but Nok (Cherry) and Am seem to be smashed already. (It seems that they started on the booze not long after leaving us at the hotel)
Beer is also there already, and I let Nok know that the drinks for Beer are to go in our checkbin and she can simply order as she wants; there is no need to wait or ask for a drink. She is one of the gang for tonight.

Then we had the ( Good - Bad - Ugly ). You can decide amongst yourselves which was which.
There is some tension in the air though. Kevin is a joint host and his girl who has been barfined for the night seems to be spending a lot of time 'working' behind the bar. Is this a ploy to make the party pictures show that she wasn't actually with Kevin?
He doesn't look particularly happy here and the garland has disappeared as well.
Most of the pictures of Am are of her behind the bar posing for pictures with the other staff. Wish I'd spotted this on the night, but I was too tied up in my gal.
This bundle of energy always seems to be smling and having fun and she is extremely fit. (More of her later in the trip)
Aah, maybe everything is okay after all.
The party cake came out and as I had already announced that I was returning to Pattaya in January to be there for Nok's birthday, the sparkling wit of my 'mates' was displayed.
Now somewhere in the procedings, Nok (FLB) nad disappeared off with Beer. I had been told that they were simply going off to get some food, but it had been a while. As Aussiechic and Badboy turned up at the Cherry Bar, I sent a text to Nok to let her know that they were here. I didn't get a response which was strange, as she would normally send me a simple "OK" to acknowledge that she'd got the message.
Nok and Beer had now been gone for several hours and I was not taking it well. I didn't know where she was, I was pissed and I was in love. Not a good combination. And just to add additional fuel to the fire, Kevin & Chris keep saying that the reason that Beer wanted to meet Nok tonight was because she had a guy lined up for some ST threesome fun and she needed a partner.
This totally destroys me and I walk out into the car park at the back of the complex and just sit on the kerb and cry my eyes out.
One of the girls from the bar spots me after a while and says that Nok and Beer are at the bar and Nok is worried because I am not there. I am escorted back to the bar and am asked to take a photograph of Nok and Am.
Shortly afterwards, we decide to leave. I ask Nok if Beer is okay, or does she need somewhere to stay and I am simply told "I send her away". I will never fucking understand women. I'm convinced of that.
Chris has been off the booze all night, so is completely sober and he rounds us all up and gets us back to the hotel.
Nok is quite annoyed with me as she obviously finds it disturbing to see me cry and she doesn't understand why. I stupidly try to explain and that really doesn't help matters at all. The concepts of love, hurt and guilt just don't seem to feature in the Thai culture, so they cannot be understood. The age difference also brings on more guilt and tears from me, so I go to the bathroom to try and clean myself up and not let Nok see me this way. I sit on the loo with my head in my hands and try to make sense of it all.
Next thing I know, Kevin is pulling me out of the bathroom and telling me to get my stupid arse into bed. I have really let myself down tonight and this in turn has upset Nok which makes me feel even worse.
I am completely in love. and I cannot handle it.
